Located near the Red Lion pub in Chesterfield, you can find a fine and challenging golf course located at Stanedge Golf Club. It is laid out on some fabulous moorland with plenty of challenges all around to delight and interest golfers of all levels of ability. Whether you are a low to mid handicapper or a beginner with a high handicap you are looking to reduce, there is no question that this is a course you will enjoy and be tested by. Although it has only nine-holes, there are variable tees meaning that an eighteen-hole round can be played, satisfying the more discerning golfer, and at 5786 yards long, it is a good length without being too arduous on the legs.
