Peter Moon is the brains behind Maywood Golf Club's sensational course. It really is an absolute treat on the eye, and is located deep in the heart of the Derbyshire countryside with plenty of fine and picturesque views to be had. The course itself is laid out on fabulous part wooded parkland with water features all around as an attractive but nasty tricky hazards for you to successfully overcome. The course is by no means the oldest in Derbyshire - it was founded in 1990 - but has truly blossomed into an absolute gem, as its friendly membership will no doubt testify. It is kept in immaculate condition also, all throughout the year.
