Situated on the North West side of the town lies this practically unknown course. Though it is not famous around the country and has to live in the shadow of a number of better know neighbours, Saffron Walden Golf Club still provides a golf course that is genuinely good fun to play, whatever the time of year. It is a parkland course with long, undulating fairways which, at times, requiring accurate approach shots as the fairways can be narrow. The course is very well maintained with good greens and is boosted by fine all-surrounding views. The course is joined by an excellent clubhouse and superb facilities.
